Victoria Sekitoleko is an agribusiness /rural development professional. A retired banker, politician and international civil servant. Has an Agribsiness academic background. Holds a bachelors degree in Agriculture extension and management plus a number of certificates in areas like agriculture financing, rural development, international development, leadership, women in development, counseling etc She grew up as a farmers' daughter in Uganda where she first worked as a development banker for 13 years, after which she joined politics where she spent just under a decade as minister of Agriculture, before joining the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United nations based in Zimbabwe but covering Eastern and Southern Africa, as regional director ,later moved to Ethiopia to represent The Food and Agriculture organisation at AU/ECA and Ethiopia...later on moved on to do the same job in China, Mongolia and the Democratic Republic of Korea Currently serving as chairperson Uganda Agribusiness Alliance, board chair or member of a number of both national and international boards .while practicing urban farming as a hobby.
